When I first saw this picture, I was pretty drawn to it. I love how the artist used the objects to design her hair, and how much movement it has. The swirls, colors, and circles in the designs give it more life and interest that what this would look like if the artist just made it look like ordinary hair.
I also think for the colors they used cool colors to give the drawing a sense of serenity and calmness. Because of the diagonals and swirls, it's also dynamic and chaotic as well.
